Hey there, Friend!

Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the internet.

I'm excited to share my story and design path with you.

Whether you're a fellow creative, a potential client, or just an internet sleuth, I'm glad you're here.

My path has been nothing if not unique (whose isn't, really?), and I'm hoping you'll find some laughs and maybe even a dash of inspiration along the way.

So make yourself comfy and let's go on and dive in! Who knows what surprising twists and turns await...

First things first, let me set the scene:

It's 2013, and I've just graduated college with a shiny new design degree and a heart full of dreams. A friend asks if I want to crash on their couch in Brooklyn for a month and "Make It Work!" (She’s a fashion girly. LONG LIVE TIM GUNN!) Well, being the impulsive creative I am, I said, "Why the heck not?" sold my mattress and packed my bags.

LOOK, there I am with my printed ticket. Remember printing things!

Fast-forward a month, and I'm living the quintessential New York experience—shifting through five different apartments in a year and freelancing my little heart out for every beauty and retailer brand that would take me. It was a whirlwind, but I was living my dream!

Speaking
of Dreams

I'm starting my own creative agency called NO SIRES (cute, right?). The name reflects our core belief - every client's needs and creative concept deserves an open-minded vetting process.

At NO SIRES, we bring a wide range of perspectives into the ideation phase to bat ideas around collaboratively. There's no premature judgment - just an equitable exploration of potential paths forward. But don't worry, that inclusive "no bad ideas" spirit is balanced by a keen business strategy. We'll evolve the strongest concepts into revenue-driven creative guaranteed to resonate with your audiences and deliver measurable results. An open process, yes, but one meticulously tailored to your goals.

Now, before we dive into the nitty-gritty of my career, let me give you a little peek behind the curtain.

I'm an... eccentric one, to say the least.

First off,

I'm absolutely obsessed with my dog, Sage. She's 5 years old, and I love that little furball more than life itself.

Like, an unhealthy amount…

My husband is starting to get jealous.

Oh, and
get this

My grandmother was absolutely certain she was a witch reincarnated after being burned at the stake...

Not just once, but THRICE!

I honestly can't make this stuff up. The love of a good story runs in the family, I guess.

Miss you Mimi & Poppy!

During the pandemmy

like everyone else…

I went full-on plant daddy.

They're multiplying like
rabbits now.

Send help!

I have a serious penchant for musicals too.

Yep, I'm that person belting out show tunes in the shower without a care in the world.

Xanadu, Little Shop of Horrors, Sound of Music, and The Greatest Showman all day erryday.

Well, more like 3 times a year, but I love it…

Okay, okay, One more thing, but this is a good one!

My family's annual
Christmas card!

For the past 5 years, we've gone all out with these elaborately themed photo shoots.

Told you - we don't do anything halfway! Gotta love a family of hams, am I right?

Okay, now that you know the real me, let's dive into my professional journey!

2014-2015

After a year of freelancing madness, I landed a gig as the Lead Marketing Designer at DKMS, a nonprofit fighting blood cancer. I crafted vibrant campaigns inspiring young people to register as bone marrow donors while living my East Village dreams with the roommates-turned-family I met that first year.

2015-2017

My confident DKMS crew and I ventured into the tech realm at WebCollage, where I played a key role in launching their inaugural marketing department and refining my expertise in B2B product tours, front-end UX, and branding strategies.

2017-2018

From freelancing at tech giants like JW Player to making waves at high-demand nonprofits like Global Citizen, I continuously broadened my marketing and social media expertise. It was a wild ride, but I wouldn't have had it any other way!

2018-2023

I dedicated over 5 years to shaping the creative process at GLAAD, defining their brand guide, and advocating for sustainable growth in the face of organizational challenges. It was a pivotal time, and I grew tremendously as a designer and leader.

Wow! You stuck around for all of that!?!?
